چکیده

Backgraund: mobile devices are widely available and their computational performance increases, allowing them to enter new areas of application. In this situation, medicine should not be a failure: single-screen computers phones essential companions for telehealth professionals
Aim: explore opportunities ultrasonic Tele-Ultrasound using smartphones single-plate computers.
Materials methods: study focused on the capture ultrasound videos external video recording connected via USB. Raspberry Pi single-board Android have been used as platforms host tele-ultrasound server. Used software: VLC, Motion, USB Camera. A remote expert assessment was carried out with following VLC acted server, Google Chrome OS Windows 7 in remaining scenarios, Chromium browser installed computer.
Outcomes: UTV007 chip-based device produces better images than AMT630A-based device. The optimum resolution is 720x576, 25 frames per second. OBS studios considered most suitable raspberry-based system due low equipment bandwidth requirements (0.640.17 Mbps reduced 0.5 studio). For phone ultra-sound set camera software, although it required faster network connection speed (5.20.3 Mbps).
Conclusion: possible implement imaging systems devices. Due limited bandwidth, generally best hosting platform servers. On condition that there sufficiently wide stable Internet connection, server can also smartphone.

Neural Imaging Using Single-Photon Avalanche Diodes

Introduction: This paper analyses the ability of single-photon avalanche diodes (SPADs) for neural imaging. The current trend in the production of SPADs moves toward the minimumdark count rate (DCR) and maximum photon detection probability (PDP). Moreover, the jitter response which is the main measurement characteristic for the timing uncertainty is progressing. Methods: The neural imaging pro...

Compressive 3D ultrasound imaging using a single sensor

Three-dimensional ultrasound is a powerful imaging technique, but it requires thousands of sensors and complex hardware. Very recently, the discovery of compressive sensing has shown that the signal structure can be exploited to reduce the burden posed by traditional sensing requirements. In this spirit, we have designed a simple ultrasound imaging device that can perform three-dimensional imag...

Indoor Positioning for Smartphones Using Asynchronous Ultrasound Trilateration

Modern smartphones are a great platform for Location Based Services (LBS). While outdoor LBS for smartphones has proven to be very successful, indoor LBS for smartphones has not yet fully developed due to the lack of an accurate positioning technology. In this paper we present an accurate indoor positioning approach for commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) smartphones that uses the innate ability of...

The fetal tele-ultrasound project in Queensland.

The need for access to tertiary centre experts for those living in rural and remote areas of Queensland is well recognised. With an estimated population of 3.3 million people of whom 55% live outside the capital city, Queensland is ideally suited to telemedicine, as it provides a potential opportunity to improve access to specialist care. Congenital fetal abnormalities are the major causes of p...

Low Budget Forensic Drive Imaging Using ARM Based Single Board Computers

Traditional forensic analysis of hard disks and external media typically involves a “dead analysis” of a powered down machine. Forensic acquisition of hard drives and external media has traditionally been accomplished by one of several means: standalone forensic duplicator; using a hardware write-blocker or dock attached to a laptop, computer, workstation, etc.; forensic operating systems that ...
